Coldwater girls golf finish fourth in close quad meet at Jackson | News

Coldwater’s Taylor Musselman was second in the individual standings after she shot an 83.

JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater finished fourth in a closely contested quad meet on Friday at the Arbor Hills Golf Course in Jackson. Only 22 shots separated the four squads who competed.

Parma Western won the event with a score of 380. East Jackson was second at 389 followed by Jackson Lumen Christi with a 392 and Coldwater at 402. 

Coldwater’s Taylor Musselman shot an 83 which was good enough for second place in the individual standings. 

Other scores for Coldwater were Anissa Stevens with a 101, Alexis Musselman shot a 108, Ashley Drzewicki had a 110, Violet Cunkle carded a 113, Katie Kimble had a 135 and Ezma Machan rounded out the scoring for Coldwater with a 140. 

Coldwater begins conference play Tuesday at Arbor Hills again as Western will host the first Jamboree of the season.

When he is not working, Jim enjoys watching the Chicago Cubs and can rest in peace as they won the World Series. He also hopes the Lions will be able to get a chance to win a superbowl.
