Judge said playing at neutral sites harms the top leagues in the league.
“.This whole process takes away from the point of winning,” he said. “That’s why we bust our butt all season to have a good record, is to get home field advantage and play in our home park to play in front of our home fans. And if you’re telling me that you can win all these games and get the first seed or get the second seed or whatever.
“But now, you’re going to play in a neutral site, playing in Dallas, playing in LA, playing somewhere else — not much of an advantage. I’m not a fan of it I was hoping we could figure out a way to not do the do the bubbles in the different regions or whatever they got planned and just go back to what we’ve been doing all year. But we’ll see you know, bigger heads above me are making those decisions.”
As of Sunday evening, the Yankees (16-9) were in second place in the American League East, a game behind the Rays (19-10)
