The Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks get their first-round series back and running after a short recess to address important issues. We’ve back to basketball with Kawhi Leonard and the Clips up 3-2 in the series. It’s been a wild ride in this series but Los Angeles is finally looking like the No. 2 seed everyone thought would make a run to the Conference Finals. Let’s go over some DraftKings Showdown picks for the contest, which locks at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Captain’s Pick
Kawhi Leonard ($16,200)
I’m not messing around with Captain and we’re going with closeout Kawhi in Game 6. The Clippers will be heavily favored in this game and the Mavericks are likely going to be pretty shorthanded. Kristaps Porzingis (knee) has already been ruled out. Tim Hardaway Jr., Trey Burke and Dorian Finney-Smith are all dealing with injuries. Luka Doncic is also questionable, though I’d be surprised if he sits. I think we see Killer Kawhi go for 30+ and going for a big game.
Fade of the Game
Ivica Zubac ($5,600)
Zubac has sort of been overshadowed after a strong seeding round and is back to being more of a role player. He’s had decent games in this series but nothing exceeding value really. I’d rather take Zubac at around $4-5K than closer to $6K. He’s a decent play in cash games but doesn’t give us much in a contest we may want to fit in a few studs.
Value Picks
Montrezl Harrell ($4,800) — The fade on Zubac is more of a testament to how Harrell’s been improving in this series. He got a series-high 23 minutes in Game 5, though it was a blowout. Doc Rivers is going to want to get Harrell more minutes heading into the second round. He was the crunch time big during the regular season. If Patrick Beverley returns, I think that helps Harrell’s prospects of getting some more minutes.
Patrick Beverley ($3,200) — Beverley is questionable but that’s considered an upgrade over his previous status. We could see Pat Bev miss another game. If he returns, he could also be on a minutes restriction. If he gets around 20-25 minutes at this price, I think he can still return value and give us some leverage for a “Stars and Scrubs” type of build.
