The first-round pick, nicknamed “Big Ticket,” bought himself a gold chain with a pendant in the shape of … well, a ticket stub. It says “Big Ticket: Admit One.”
According to TMZ Sports, which first reported the giant purchase, the jewelry piece includes more than a kilo of gold and 120 carats of white diamonds.
“I go by ‘Big Ticket,’ so I had to have a ‘Big Ticket’ piece,” the 6-foot-7, 370-pound lineman said Thursday on a Zoom call. “I would’ve had it for the draft, but we didn’t have a draft. So it was prolonged to now.”

Becton’s Jets teammates approve.
“They like it a lot,” Becton said with a big smile. “They think it’s real cool. They like it a lot. They’re always asking about it.”
Becton said the chain is the first splurge he has made with his rookie signing bonus of $11 million.
If Becton’s performance on the field sparkles as much as his “Big Ticket” pendant, the Jets will have themselves a franchise left tackle. The No. 11 overall pick in the draft enjoyed a strong training camp, working exclusively with the starters and not missing a day of practice. He will start opening day at the Buffalo Bills on Sept. 13 (1 p.m. ET, CBS).
“I definitely got better,” he said. “I got my technique better, I got my hand placement better, I got my feet better. I feel like I got better as a player over this whole camp.”
