The Lewis Lounge is once again open for Members and can be found on the 2nd floor of the National Cricket Centre.
Please note: we are still operating as a cashless stadium, so please bring card payment rather than cash.
PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY
We will not admit those who are visibly drunk and we have breathalysers in place to check.
We have installed water fountains throughout the stadium to aid our push to stop the reliance on single-use plastic. These are located underneath the Castell Howell Stand, Pro Steel Engineering Stand and Thatchers Pavilion car parking area. Please bring a bottle to fill up.
In our public areas we have removed plastic single-use disposable pint glasses.
Use our Green Goblet reusable cups for your drink – return your reusable cup to the collection points, located throughout the stadium. Please do not place these in any other bins.
There are plenty of activities going on around the stadium to keep you entertained. You’ll be able to test your cricket skills in the Family Fan Zone, enjoy football darts with Boom Battle Bar, have your face painted, or try golf, rugby and air badminton with our community friends!
There will also be live music from Becky and George duo, located underneath the Pro Steel Engineering Stand. We will also host a player signing session after the match in front of the Thatchers Pavilion. All of these activities are free, so beat the queues and come down early.
Sophia Gardens Cardiff provides a venue which caters for all of our visitors’ needs. It is our intent to provide information about the accessibility, the facilities we have in place and the use. Glamorgan Cricket is a proud member of the Level Playing Field organisation. Visit our website for more information.
Over the winter, the Club has undertaken a major maintenance project around the ground to improve facilities and enhance our customer experience. We have been busy replacing more than 12,000 old seats, painting the stadium infrastructure and upgrading the toilets.
We are working hard to finish the work quickly as possible, and whilst we anticipate minimum interruption to your experience, we would like to thank you for your patience as we complete this much-needed work.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
We ask that stadium visitors remain considerate and respectful whilst at the venue and remember that other Members, supporters and staff may have ongoing health challenges that may affect them or their close families.
Maintain sensible distancing where possible and do not come on-site if you have COVID-19 symptoms or if you have tested positive.
Comprehensive security measures will be in place for all those visiting Sophia Gardens and all bags will be searched on entrance. On arrival at the gates, your match ticket will be checked by a steward so please have it available on your entry.
Our stewards will be happy to assist with any queries you may have.
